SSRC publishes three papers at MASCOTS 2009

The SSRC will have three papers at the MASCOTS 2009 conference, which will be held in London in September. MASCOTS was particularly competitive this year, with an acceptance rate of about 20%. The papers are:

• Extreme Binning: Scalable, Parallel Deduplication for Chunk-based File Backup
• Protecting Against Rare Event Failures in Archival Systems
• Using Storage Class Memories to Increase the Reliability of Two-Dimensional RAID Arrays
